New tank, Natchez Trace and tired ass
We took the bike over and got the new gas tank changed out yesterday....so all "evidence" of our little "adventure" back in Feb. is gone.....she looks as good as new. So to celebrate that we ran up the Natchez Trace.....a ride we love to make....not curvy like the Dragon but nice, relaxing and very scenic. We saw deer, turkeys (including babies!!) rabbits, buzzards and someone's dog who lives near the Trace....he was laying near the road watching traffic go by and chasing bugs. We even saw a couple of deer just about 2 miles from the house. I didn't take a lot of pictures because I already have a lot and I just really wanted to enjoy the ride and not have to keep my attention on the camera. 421 miles and 1 day later my ass is STILL tired. We are staying close to home today but we are going to go over to the North Alabama RR Museum across town so I can take pictures. Here's the few I took yesterday.....it was a nice day to ride.
