restaurant near the lake...it was good....good enough to stop in and try lunch the next time we are there. From there we headed home, making a stop at Guntersville, hoping to see the eagles that nest there....no luck today. But we did see wild rabbits, Canada geese, black buzzards, herons and an osprey! We finally headed home and ran into a nice little traffic jam....nothing serious, just an 18 wheeler with engine problems.....ENJOY!

Bring on the wonder
When i first woke up at 4:30 I looked outside and thought it was too cloudy to capture a sunrise.....30 minutes later we were hustling our butts out the door for the 45 mile drive, hoping we would make it in time. The first 3 shots are just playing around with the still dark city streets, kind of like the effects....anyway..... We stopped first at the old marina and got a few shots there and then it was over to the visitor's center across the highway to get a couple of shots with the bridge and causeway. Last, and best, was the little park about a mile from the center. It has boardwalks and piers.....that's where I got my best shots of the sunrise.....including one with a nice little silhouette of a bicyclist to the right of the sun through the trees (it will be before the ones of the sailboat marina). After that we stopped and had breakfast at a tiny little
