No, this is not the blog I mentioned last night but it will be a vent.I FUCKING HATE INSURANCE COMPANIES.
I just got a "nice" certified letter with all sorts of quoted legal cases justifying why Safeco Ins. won't cover my injuries. OK, case law may be on their side in denying everything but it DOES NOT come close to explaining WHY one of their agents LIED to us on what coverage we needed.....and then lied again, telling us we HAD to have coverage we would NOT benefit from because of Alabama state laws. WRONG, I got the email from the Alabama Dept. of Insurance telling me that Alabama does NOT requires the coverage.....they are now going to "bring it up to our underwriters"......well, good for you but how the hell is that going to help US? How long ago did it change from providing protection for the buyer to nothing but profit for the insurance companies? I know we got screwed over in 1986 after TJ's auto accident.......
