The past few days I got to see it in action. Most of y'all had to endure listening to me rant about what happened last year in the PGR regarding my photography and how I was told I would have to seek permission prior to missions but no one else had to. TJ and I stopped riding in AL. Well, sometimes it is satisfying to be able to see karma come around.
A few weeks ago I brought up an email I had received from someone I don't know asking for money for someone else I don't know. Well, that individual has seemingly gone on a mission....to "bully" her way up the PGR food chain. In the process she has done some pretty disrespectful stuff.....showing up at funeral missions in daisy dukes and tank tops, running around all up in the family's personal space taking pictures of them and the casket and now posting everything to Facebook claiming that she had been asked by the family to "tell their story"....that she was a professional writer/photographer.....I Googled her and haven't found ANYTHING about her being a professional.....sorry, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter posts don't count. I haven't found anything she has "professionally" written. When asked by the state captain to remove the photos of the casket from public display, she (and her minions) threw "hissy fits" in their replies to him...at one point telling him to "kiss my CHEROKEE ASS" (yes, she had it in caps). Seems I have only seen twinkies and wanabees using that kind of language, emphasizing what little NDN blood they might have. It's offensive and disrespectful.
We attended a local mission on Thursday at which her husband "assisted" the ride captain. She was strutting around trying to command attention and make sure the mission revolved around her. She was bossy, imposing and trying to be intimidating. When attention shifted away from her she pouted. This has apparently gone on since they joined less than 6 months ago.
It came to a huge head this week. I received a long email from the state captain. He apologized for reacting the way he did to a single complaint last year. Right now he has received multiple complaints from PGR members, ride captains veterans, etc about how she behaves at missions and lies about the family requesting her "services". I have been asked to be the "official" photographer in regards to handling requests from the family. He's not restricting anyone from taking pictures.....just who will take pictures of certain things at the request of the family. He knows I will deal with the family with respect and compassion....not shove a camera in their face at one of the most emotionally difficult times in their lives. I was also emailed a letter that had been sent to all the north AL ride captains about it. It also looks like TJ will finally be made a ride captain. I guess the 3rd time's a charm. I really hate that it played out this way, the families are the ones suffering because of all this mess but sometimes it's just plain satisfying how karma plays out.
I have put this bog out to my contacts only because I really don't want to take the chance of it being seen by this person or any of her friends and accomplices.
